We`ve got a couple of merry pranksters here, who con and scheme their way into a tony resort hotel in an expensive part of Beach Country, USA, and by acting as if they belong there, Johnny and Rob fit right in. They soon begin to sneak into and out of the rooms of several rich young women, and the women of rich old men-you know how that goes!
They run across a jealous mob boss, Hector, who`s about to conduct a major deal with a colleague, and Dice, a crude but persistent New Jersey dumbass, both of whom complicate the downtime our boys had planned for themselves (hey, even con artists and petty crooks need a day off once in a while!).
Throw in a very snooty hotel dick (huh, huh!), and you get the picture. We end up with a Three`s Company finale with both farce and slapstick in full effect. Our boys come out on top of the situation, of course.
Trivia: Mr. Depp would go on to star in the influential Fox series 21 Jump Street, a favourite of YMP`s back in the day, and several well-known films, while Rob would later headline a successful CBS series Northern Exposure and star in the film Quiz Show, written by a friend of one of YMP`s old high school/college friends, who also created NBC`s Homocide: Paul Attanasio. Hector Elizando, a veteran character actor, is now best known for his starring role on Chicago Hope, the other TV medical drama.
