It`s Graduation Day for our tres amigos, so they go for the expected celebratory trip to a professional house of hospitality to undergo another rite of passage. However they each fail, for different reasons, to attain the supreme goal in life.
In addition, our richest amigo has failed a class, and his uptight father forces him to study with a tutor during the summer. But he turns his frown upside down when he meets the beautiful instructor who is to teach him...french! Oh boy!
Despite his friends` efforts to interest him in sleazy pursuits on weekends, our boy`s thoughts drift ever closer to home as he becomes hot for teacher, and helps her get rid of an abusive former boyfriend. They study French by day, and the ways of love by night, getting hotter and heavier all the time. When Dad gets drunk at a party and comes onto the tutor, our boy misunderstands and thinks that her affections have been purchased along with her tutelage, throwing off his studies and his emotional balance.
After she convinces him that her love was real, our guy goes on to pass his final test, and find his true love-a fellow student with whom he can have a real and long-lasting relationship.
