Folding knife designs

These are my CAD designs for linerlocks and framelocks.

Each design is complete with all details.

You may copy the design for your own use only, and scale the design up or down in size to change the size of the knife to suit yourself. A copy made on a scanner or copy machine will retain all the relative sizes and dimensions.

You can cut out the design using scissors to make paper patterns, and glue the patterns to the materials.

By copying the size smaller or larger, you can make the patterns whatever size you wish.

The most important part of the design is the correct relationship of the blade to the pivot and lock. You're free to make your blade and handle in different shapes from the patterns as long as you use the patterns to establish the blade, pivot, and lock locations in relation to the handle in both the open and closed positions.

The book "My Way" teaches how to do this.

This is a framelock or linerlock design, complete with all details. 5 pages. At full scale, the wharncliffe blade is 3 3/4" long, overall length open is 8 5/8".
