Do you like the old Barlow pocket knives? I made this one for a collector
who has over 200 Barlows. It's a Barlow Linerlock®, instead of being a slip joint like the original. It opens
and closes smooothly! You don't have to grit your teeth and break your fingernails.
It has a 2 5/8" long blade of ATS34 steel, hardened and triple tempered
to Rc 60. Titanium bolsters and liners, and beautiful honey colored natural bone handle scales.
The original knife used as an example was made by George Wostenholm,
of Sheffield, England.

I've made lots of tactical folders too. This one has a 3 1/2" ATS 34
blade, partially serrated. The blade and the G10 scales have been sand blasted to prevent reflections.
|
Here's a large folder with a 3 3/4" blade of D2 tool steel, titanium
bolsters, and Micarta handle scales.

This is a combination framelock/linerlock made to the customers specifications.
3 1/4" blade, 4 1/4" closed length.

Linerlock® is a registered trademark by Michael Walker.
I'm a true custom knifemaker.
I do all the work on my knives myself, including the heat treat unless the blade is too long for my furnace.
I
especially enjoy making folders of all kinds, and I like making state of the art old style barlow linerlock or slipjoint pocket
knives.
