Welcome to the website of the family of Don Daniel Current II.  Here you'll find a few of my favorite things.  (Sounds like a song, don't it?)  Enjoy!

The Current News (Pun definitely intended!)
06-22-08 Here are a couple of video clips from the big rain we had.  There is also one of our kids plus a cousin, Jason Drown at the Creation Museum near Cinci.

06-02-08 Just a little clip of our family during dinner time.  Danielle just looked so cute eating corn on the cob, I had to shoot this.

12-17-07 Okay, so I haven't gotten the new site finished yet.  So sue me. ;-) Somehow raising two 6 year olds and a 15 month old seems to take precedence over a website.  Anyway, here is the Christmas Card we are sending out.  We can't send one to everyone, so please don't be offended if you don't get one.  I'll bet everyone who sent one to us gets one though, hint, hint. (click the picture for a larger view)

We wish you a merry CHRISTmas!

10-06-07 Hey everybody!  We got Danielle's one year pictures taken at Wandering Brook recently, as well as a few family pictures.  Check them out.  Click on the picture and type in Danielle as the password.

Also, please update your bookmark to our new web address -  www.5dcurrents.changingcurrents.com
For the time being, it will just redirect you back here, but I'm working on making a new site, so eventually this one will be taken down.

08-10-07 Tech support finally got my problem fixed! Here are more pictures from our trip to Kentucky last month.  As I said, we had a blast.   Many of these pictures are from Kentucky Down Under which has a cave to tour and a bunch of Australian animals on exhibit including a working sheep ranch.  It was probably our favorite place on the trip.

Anybody got a life jacket?
Darrel wasn't quite as adventurous. :-)

Are sure this is the right way?
We also did some hiking at Mammoth Caves Park. We saw deer and turkeys on our hikes.

Is this thing strong enough?
These are all of the neighborhood kids shortly after we returned

07-30-07 I'm having technical difficulty getting more pictures uploaded.  Please stay tuned.

07-22-07 Our vacation We spent a week in the Mammoth Caves area of Kentucky during the week of July 9th. We had an OUTSTANDING time. I highly recommend the area to families. We kept busy the whole week, and we only went into one cave the whole week. We saw Australian Animals, Dinosaurs, Stuffed Wildlife from around the world, a Shaker village, Corvettes, Live deer, turkeys, ground hogs, rabbits, and squirrels, and of course caves. Check these pictures out!

Darrel did it again! Darrel and Donny were goofing around on their slide and Darrel fell off and broke both bones in his fore arm right above the wrist.  He's got a temporary cast on right now (10/1) and Dyan has to make an appointment in the morning with an Orthopedic Doctor to get it set right and a permanent cast put on.  Luckily it was his right arm and he is left handed.  Unfortunately, Grandpa and Grandma are on the west coast, and I have to go on a business trip for a couple of days, so mom is going to be dealing with a 5 week old baby, and twin boys, one of whom has a broken arm!

Danielle Pictures #2.

She's arrived! Danielle Alisa Current was born on 8/23/06 at 9:20am.  She weighs 7lbs. 5oz. and is 20-1/4" long.  We had scheduled a C-section for 8/31, but she had other plans.  Dyan's water broke during the night so we went into the hospital to have her checked out.  They decided to get her in for a C-section that morning.

I'm back from Panama! Read my trip report here - Trip letter . You can also read a couple of posts that were made by the leaders at CIY Trip Updates.  My camera died on the 2nd day in Panama, but others got lots of pictures, so I'll post some once I get copies.  You can start with these - Don's Pics
