If you can’t find the truth

right where you are,

where else do you think

you will find it?

The Mytho-Poetics of Men in Community

Working with images, story and inner wisdom we will engage in a conversation at a deeper level than is customary for men in our culture.  We will explore some of the wounds that men carry in our society as well as the gifts that men have to offer our world.  We will explore sources of healing that can only come from men in community with each other.

These gatherings for men will be ongoing events spontaneously scheduled when there is a demand for them.  Email me for the next scheduled date.

Contributor's Guidelines

  • Submissions not in keeping with the themes of the website will not be published.
  • The web host retains the right to refuse to publish material that he would consider unacceptable for his children or grandchildren to read or see.  If this is the case, you will get a nice email explaining why it wasn't published.
  • For the most-part, written submissions should be 250 words or less.
  • Submissions for publication might not appear in the month they are submitted.  New material will augment or replace existing material approximately once a month.
  • Pictures generally need to be 250K bytes or less.
  • There may be other guidelines that I haven't thought of yet.

Be Your Best
- a training series in personal effectiveness
--------------------
This program, designed by Gordon Training International (GTI), offers you the skills you need to live your life to the fullest.  The communication and conflict management skills that you learn will help you assume control and responsibility for your life, develop your untapped potential and improve all your relationships with others.

Based on a model developed by Dr. Thomas Gordon, and used for over 40 years in businesses, schools and homes, this program provides relationship skills that go well beyond tactics offered by feel-good motivational seminars.  You will  develop skills to become proactive instead of reactive in your daily life.  The elements in this training help develop higher self-esteem, self-confidence and life management skills while reducing frustration, resentment and hostility.

I am a certified trainer for this GTI workshop series.  For more information and dates for the next workshop series, conatact me through the link on this web page.

There is nothing we must do.  There is nothing we must have.  There is nothing we must be. There is nothing we must know.  However, it is important to remember that when it rains we can get wet and that fire burns.
