"Mage Kauluwen" album was recorded in Sri Lanka with the help of his friend  Rookantha Gunathilaka who wrote and arranged most of the songs and the rest was written by Gamini Silva. Mangal sang all vocals tracks including harmony with Dhammika Bandara singing duets on some of the tracks.
