The Company
Established in 2001, North Hollywood Pictures set out to carve a nitch in the independent film market by creating specialized
and art films.

Moonbeams is a story of a boy who talks to the moon. It stars Castulo Guerra (Alias, The Mexican, Terminator 2, The Usual Suspects) as the boys psychologist, Mary Joan Negro (The Practice, NYPD Blue, The West Wing, Tony nominated actress) as the boy’s teacher and Art Gilmore (Dragnet, Highway Patrol) as the voice of the moon. The film won a silver Telly Award and the Finalist Award at the Delta
Film Festival.
The song you hear is “Keep The Window Open” © 2001 by Bernadette Haderlein from the Moonbeams soundtrack.

Don Haderlein produced, wrote and directed 29 short films, television spots, music videos and documentary shorts before writing-producing and directing the feature film "Moonbeams".
He has also worked as a sound editor on multiple major motion picture trailers
and television spots, co-produced a documentary on Diabetes, and managed online theatrical feature film marketing
for Paramount Pictures and 21st Century Fox films.
