FAMILY & FRIENDS

My best friend Krys, whom I've known since high school. This was taken at the southern Renaissance Pleasure Faire many moons ago.

My sister, Laurel, at Third Lake, Big Pine Creek.

Marya, our "house-mom" with the Roaring Dragon Press at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire when it was at Black Point Forest.

Me, mom, grandma, and great-grandma.

Fattening-up Krys, with the help of his lady, Elsa, and a six-foot subway sandwich.

Me on Mt. Lamarck in the Sierra Nevada during my first trip with my dad and his mountaineering buddies, "The Nut Squad". There were some very fine mountaineers in this group of friends, who had in common a strong sense of humor, and who eschewed fame and that "beat-this-mountain-or-die" attitude. Dad is at right, a 2000 foot drop is at left.

With my dad and my sister on the Palisade Glacer, Sierra Nevada, one very long, late summer day.

My dad, my sister, and I really loved this beautiful little meadow. It's just past the couloir above Brainard Lake in the Sierras.

My dad and I at Taboose Pass in the Sierras.
