Hale Kamaole is a
quiet and friendly complex located in South Kihei near the Wailea border. There
are spacious grounds that are immaculately maintained with plenty of lawn for
the kids and palm trees and tropical flowers to give it that South Pacific
charm.
The complex has two pools, a tennis court, two large BBQ areas and is just steps from Kamaole Beach. There is an office for sending or receiving mail/faxes and getting general information. Various trips and excursions can be arranged free of charge at the on site tour desk should you decide to explore the rest of the island.
Unit #272 has all the best to offer in one of the nicest condominium complexes on Maui. Starting with gorgeous ocean and mountain views through to the interior appointments this condominium will make for the greatest Maui holiday.
With
#272 you can sit on your own private lanai (balcony) and watch the whales in
Maalaea Bay during the winter or just take in the surrounding view of the West
Maui Mountains or Mt. Haleakala, Maui's dormant volcano. Off the lanai there is
a large storage closet which contains coolers, beach chairs and other items for
your beach safaris (less than a minute's walk away).
The unit is well maintained and includes everything you will need for a great holiday. It is fully equipped with oven, toaster, blender, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher and just about every utensil you could need. There are plenty of plates, glasses and cookware so you can plan on having as many meals at home as you want. The fridge has an automatic ice maker so there's always plenty for those tropical drinks before dinner. HINT:If you have a Costco Card be sure to bring it as you will save money buying your food there.
In addition there is TV (with cable), VCR's upstairs and down, stereo and telephone. One especially handy item is the full sized washer/dryer so there is no lugging of laundry baskets around while you're on holiday! There are ceiling fans throughout the unit for that lazy tropical feeling but #272 is also fully air conditioned should you like it cooler. The unit has plenty of closet space and comes with all the linen and towels you'll need. Bring your own favorite beach towel.
On
the first floor there is a living room, dining area, kitchen, bathroom, and
bedroom (with two twin beds). The second floor has the master bedroom with king
size bed, TV/VCR and en-suite bathroom. Also on the second floor is a loft/study
overlooking the downstairs that has a fold out double bed. It is perfect for two
couples who don't want the cramped feeling of a one bedroom or for families up
to 6 people.
The weather in Kihei-Wailea is some of the best on Maui. Each community has many fine and family restaurants, additional beaches and shopping. There are five championship golf courses (Wailea and Makena) within a few minutes drive and several other community courses. There is good snorkeling at Kamaole Beach across the street and up and down the coast. Additional tennis courts are abundant in Kihei and at Makena.
If
you haven't been to Maui, it is the most perfect blend of tranquility and
activity on the planet. There are great unspoiled beaches, lazy days by the
pool, postcard sunsets and wonderful meals at ocean side restaurants. For the
more energetic there is diving, backpacking, mountain biking, horseback riding,
the world's best windsurfing and all manner of athletic pursuits.
