| Dolby & Friends Keiko |
Welcome to Dolby & Friends. We are the little ranch with a big heart for all animals. We are just beginning
a new adventure of raising miniature donkeys. Check out our links for information about these wonderful, affectionate, humorous
animals. You'll fall in love just like we did!

We are located in Placerville, California, between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe in the beautiful, serene,
Sierra Nevada Foothills. We are very near to Coloma and the South Fork of the American River.
Our treasured jennets are Savannah and Jazzy Lil' Girl. Our elegant Savannah has birthed the most perfect
foals. Keiko, meaning "adorable one" is a love bug. She's dark brown/black with dark sorrel highlights. Her father is Circle
C Canadian Gold. She is now 2 1/2 years old and gorgeous. Savannah's latest foal is Beuller, born May 15, 2006. He is an
unusual dark brown coloring. His father is Goulet's Ranch Independence Day. Beuller is very smart and affectionate.
Glamorous Jazzy, daughter of the amazing athlete Calderon Paco, always strikes a model's pose. We're "tickled pink" by her
coloring. After a long 12 month, 3 week gestation she has birthed the cutest little pink jennet. She looks just like her
mother including the white spot on her forehead. Lil' Blue was just 19 1/2" at birth and only 20lbs. She's perfect and healthy
and could easily be mistaken as a stuffed plush toy.
Our unquestionably charming gelding, Scamper, is learning to drive
a cart. He is already jumping over poles and loving it. He also exhibits talent with a skateboard. Scamper is one amazing
donkey! He loves to go to concerts and kids' events. Send him an invite!

Dolby is our ranch patriarch. Nothing gets done around here without this feline's approval. He is now 19 years
young! Guests have always been amazed that all of our assorted pets (cats, cockatiels, pet rats, sheep, pygmy goats, gold
fish, as well as the resident deer nursery, wild turkey, the neighbor's visiting rotweiler, the miniature dachshund that vacations
here and now miniature burros) all get along so well, hence the name for our mini-ranch, "Dolby & Friends". Those who
know Dolby agree there could be no other name.
Update: Our beloved Dolby died June 21 at 19 1/2 years of age. His legend lives on around here guiding us all. He will
be missed and never forgotten. Dolby still "owns this place".
