Rainbows End Llamas

Rainbows End llamas was started in April of 2001 by Dana and Dennis Myers after many years of dreaming, studying and planning.  The ranch sits on 17 acres just 20 miles south of Santa Fe, NM on the Turquoise Trail (State Highway 14).

Rainbows End Llamas currently owns 12 llamas: 4 geldings, 4 females, a stud, and 3 crias.  The herd is purposefully kept small to afford each llama individualized attention and to ensure herd health. The llamas are cared for by the owners to maintain quality. Any llama purchased from Rainbows End Llamas will be easy to catch, halter, and groom.

Our plan is to breed the females and sell all the young to responsible homes.  We will use the geldings for personal, and ocassionally, commercial hiking trips in the many beautiful National Forests around Santa Fe, NM.

Rainbows End Llama's goal is to improve the quality of llamas in New Mexico, increase the awareness of llamas in New Mexico, entice more New Mexicans to own llamas and to have a great time while doing all this.

Call me if you would like to visit the ranch and meet the llamas.  Our llamas can be walked by a 4-year old child.
