Cold outside, but not on the inside

Friends' posts comment on the brrrrr temperatures around here. Snow flurries for the Sacto valley? No way. It snows like once every 20 years here. I don't think it will happen.

Flying monkey mode continues at work, with many projects and many levels bouncing this way and that. Moving it all forward, and trying to implement calmer focus and attention in the midst. Some successes in that regard when I felt I was really listening to who was speaking, but other instances when I definitely felt ego getting in the way of listening and didn't like the outcome (talking too much, not being as understanding of the situation as I could have been).
