It must be a busy life when so much time goes by without this form of ruminating. And it has been, couple with a few Blogger technical difficulties. Juggling work responsibilities, at a time when internal resources are low and must be replenished. The work demands don't stop, though, and you can't really let 'em see you sweat, especially when you're a "leader." I'm looking forward to getting our new hire, which means that a layer of daily operations tasks will leave my plate and go to this person's. It's not just the quantity of tasks, but the differences in attention between the discrete orders micro-level vs. the planning, more macro-level--totally different mind modes.

Gardening continues to be an outlet: tomato plants are going gangbusters, with little fruits starting to show themselves, green as anything. Very exciting as it looks like we will eat a bit of the fruits of my labor this summer.
