We can do it!

Let's feed the world: Bread for the World and the One campaign. (I'm not just linking to the is because Brad Pitt's involved, honest).

The more I read about what's going on in the world, the more I am drawn toward wanting to get involved and do something about solving the problems. Beyond signing every Sojourner's petition that comes into my inbox, what else can I do? Plenty, I just have to focus my time and resources.

Meanwhile, other worthwhile pursuits, such as mothering and librarianing go on.... As does gardening: I have a nice planting now of some hostas and Serbian bellflower. Thanks to my stepfather I also have 3 lovely planters awaiting soil and vegetable plants. Also did another chunk of mulching.
