| Hello Friends!
I would like to thank you for visiting the Green-Haus website. In 1996, I incorporated Green-Haus with the intent of selling green building products online. Since I shortly thereafter decided that the online market was only looking for paint and water filters at that time, I then shifted my focus towards providing Sustainable Design Research and Consulting services. My goal is to further investigate and question the priniciples of Sustainable Design and educate everyone I can along the way. I grew up living in Louisiana most of my life and received my B.S. in Civil Engineering from Tulane University in New Orleans. Living in Louisiana gave me the opportunity to see oil refineries and petrochemical plants in person and be able to witness firsthand their negative effect on the environment and our economic society. While at Tulane, I had a very innovative teacher, the late Bill Mouton, who I could never thank enough for sparking my interest in innovative building techniques. I also have to thank my family who are architects, engineers and artists, as they encouraged me since the young age of 5 to draw floor plans. You may have noticed that I am completely changing the format of this website. Please come back often as I will be adding more content weekly. All of the content on this website is developed from the ideas of many very knowledgeable green building consultants with some of my own ideas mixed in. Please let me know what you think.
