First US trade edition (with Banfield illustrations).
Correspondence with Mr. Banfield revealed that the
publisher cropped the illustrations in both the hardcover
and paperback editions. The logic of this escapes one
as there is plenty of room on the pages for the artwork
to have remained as the artist created it. Banfield states
that the Thornwillow Press edition will have the art
reproduced unaltered.
