Meet the Therapist

I specialize in colonic irrigations, postural/structural neuromuscular re-education, muscle energy techniques, craniosacral therapy and manual lymphatic dranage. In 30 years experience as a Massage Therapist, I have worked in spas, chiropractic, medical and health clinics. My first massage training was at Esalen Institue in 1973 and I began working in a spa in 1975. I graduated from the Florida School of Massage in Gainesville in 1979 and have been licensed in Florida since 1983. My training is in Colonic Irrigations, Craniosacral Therapy, Somatic Emotional Release, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular, Polarity Therapy, Muscle Energy, and Sports Massage.

I combine these techniques to help faciliate change within the body. Since 1986 I have refined these techniques for the treatment of digestive health, constipation and IBS. My massage therapy is effictive for TMJ disorders, headaches, cervical, thoracic, lumbar pain disorders, and shoulder injuries.

Within my professional community, I have been a leader, and served on the Board of the Florida State Massage Therapy Association for 14 years and as Executive President four years. I am also a member of the International Association of Health Care Practitioners. I am excited to be working in the massage and touch therapy profession. I strive to facilitate body changes and empower my clients to be in charge of their healing process.
