GW solution? Build an energy efficient home!
Many people believe that global warming is the worst crisis of the century but their only solution is for
governments to mandate changes people must make. And many of the biggest GW supporters are driven from event to event in big
gas guzzling limousines. If you believe in global warming, what are you personally doing to solve global warming? One solution
to global warming is to build an energy efficient home.
Well, I don’t believe in global warming. The Kyoto Accord is a purely political joke. It is designed to have only
one purpose – redistribute the wealth of the world. As a rational environmental policy, the Kyoto Accord makes absolutely
no sense.
The science of global warming has some serious flaws. Look at the computer modeling. They can’t even correctly predict
the weather this afternoon let alone the weather a hundred years from now. If you want to make me a believer of global warming
modeling, feed the data up to 1990 into the computer model then correctly “predict” the weather that happened
in the 90’s.,
Pull up web sites for ice ages. They show the weather goes in cycles – warm years cycle followed by cold years cycle.
We have had some strange weather lately. In 2003, Illinois had 130 something tornadoes by June when normally we get 30 something
tornadoes for the entire year. That is a 400 percent increase in the numbers of tornadoes for the year. I think we are going
from a warm years cycle to a cold years cycle and that is not man made. However just in case global warming exists, what are
you personally doing about it?
Me? I am telling everyone about monolithic dome technology that can save you up to 50% in heating and cooling energy over
conventional stick built homes. (Note: I am not getting paid by anybody to promote MDs. I just think, if global warming exists,
MDs are part of the solution.)
The house shown below is the monolithic dome I plan to build.
Note: The computer generated picture of my home was created by Marumari.
