These Boromir and Elrond figures were both painted for GW's first US National Lord of the Rings painting competition in 2001.
The Boromir figure won 1st place in the first 3 rounds (local, state and region).
It also won Best of Show (and 1st place in single fantasy) at Kublacon 2002.
I think it's the best figure I've ever painted.

This Rider of Rohan was painted in 2002 for my local GW store's Two Towers painting competition. It won 1st place.

This Second Age Gondorian foot soldier was painted to see how fast I could get him done to a semi-high standard. I'm pleased with the result.
