After Games Day, a friend and I stopped by GW's Los Angeles battle bunker to see what new tables they had built in the last 12 months.
The trip was worth it, as they did indeed have some amazing scenery; a couple of LotR tables and a huge Warhammer port town table, complete with shipwreck.

The Mines of Moria:

The ruined city of Osgiliath. A bit on the sparse side, and featuring a transplanted Weathertop ruin,
but I'd be more than happy to play a game on this table!

Warhammer port town.
This town is obviously going to be attacked from the sea; if you build a castle out on a promontory like that, you just know it's going to attract trouble.
(The shipwreck is just off-camera to the right.)

I'd hate to be deployed back here and have to march to the beach!

The attackers will probably have to capture the beach
and then assault the castle with whatever they have left.

A well-timed cavalry charge from this courtyard would probably see off the attackers.
Your average small seaside town does support a unit of heavy cavalry, doesn't it?
