About Me

I'm David Waller , my wife Julie, daugthers Chloe and Caroline, live in Raleigh North Carolina. Native born North Carolinians and proud of it. I am a dept. supervisor for a fastener corporation. I went to North Carolina Wesleyan College in Rocky Mount NC. I am the past President of the Raleigh Civil War Round Table and very proud to be so. I am the living decendent of at least 8 CSA veterans and very proud of that fact! I have spoken to many different history groups and civic organizations on " Civil War Grave Hunting " and hopefully gotten alot of people interested in this passion of mine.

I have been a Civil War Graver for 24 years and believe it or not, I have other loves. My Family First, University of North Carolina Basketball, football and all its' sports ..... GO HEELS! ...... and ACC sports. College basketball and football are big in my house. I play golf, basketball and just have a endless love for United States history, ALL United States history! I love the " Allman Brothers Band " and have been a fan for many years. I love all aspects of the South with it's culture, music and most of all, it's history. I of course love ALL USA history and am very fond of every part of this great country but, I am a little partial to the SOUTH!

My friend, World famous Civil War historian, ED BEARSS and I. There is a no more entertaining educator and when you are with him, you almost hear the guns and smell the powder of the Civil War ! A great man to know and no one more eager to share and educate on Civil War history! There is no one, in Civil War history study that I admire and respect more............and that's a fact !
