The New Jersey Lesbian & Gay Coalition have been the voice and visibility for the LGBTI communities for more than 30 years. Among their many online resources,
they also provide a Religious Directory of LGBTI-welcoming churches! (Sorry--last I checked, no Catholic parish has
been so bold as to include themselves on the list.)
Garden State Equality has, for the last five years, been at the forefront of the campaign for Marriage Equality in NJ. They've also just initiated
a Catholic Caucus to help show that, in spite of the rhetoric of the Catholic hierarchy, most NJ Catholics support Marriage
Equality.
Jersey Pride, Inc. (P.O. Box 10796, New Brunswick, NJ 08906, 732-214-2965) is the
official producer of NJ's annual LGBT Pride Celebration in Asbury Park, as well as other cultural and fundraising events.
GAAMC. The Gay Activist Alliance of Morris County has been serving the GLBTI community since 1972 and are certainly one of
the biggest groups in NJ. They meet every Monday at the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship (discussion groups start at
7:30pm, the main programmed event at 8:30pm). They are also sponsors of the Anti-Violence Project, Gay And Lesbian Youth
of New Jersey, a Helpline (973-285-1595), and are publishers of the annual Pride Guide.
The Trenton Gay and Lesbian Civic Association (TGLCA) holds a monthly meeting every 3rd Thursday at an area restaurant, an Operations Meeting every 1st Monday,
at their offices in Trenton, and presents its legendary coffeehouse every 2nd Saturday at a local pub. TGLCA also
hosts Trenton Gay Alternative--Lesbian and Gay Alcoholics Anonymous which
meets every Monday
Promethean Guard (a Leather and Levi's lifestyle club) holds their Business Meeting every 1st Wednesday at The Den in Somerset and a Leather
Social every 3rd Thursday (location varies).
Central NJ Gay Bowling League meets at the Brunswick Edison Bowl-O-Mat.
Bordentown Friends of Lesbians and Gays meets at every 2nd Monday.
There are three chapters of P-Flag-Parents, Family and Friends
of Gays and Lesbians-in NJ: Princeton PFLAG meets every 2nd Monday at Trinity Church, Princeton. PFLAG of Northern NJ meets every 2nd Sunday in South Orange at the First Presbyterian & Trinity Church. They have a hotline: 973-267-8414.
P-FLAG Bergen County meets every 3rd Tuesday
BRAY, Bergen Rainbow Youth is a free open group for LGBTQ youth ages 14 - 21.
Meetings are every Sunday in Teaneck from 2 - 5pm.

African Asian Latina Lesbians United Discussions on health, educational, political, economical, social and emotional issues. email them (via the link
above) for their schedule and other info. BiZone, open to all bisexual, bicurious, and bifriendly people and their partners. Planning meetings every 1st Wednesday.
Cuddle Party, a safe, non-sexual space to explore nurturing touch and respectful communication. The link is to a national website.
Game Night meets every 3rd Tuesday. "An opportunity to bring your favorite game and
meet others in a fun environment. GRAANJ (Gender Rights Advocacy Association of NJ) meets every
1st Sunday. Lesbians and BiWomen in Heterosexual Marriages meets every 3rd Wednesday. Lesbians and Gay Men of New Brunswick meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday. Long Yang Club-New Jersey meets every 2nd Saturday. For gay Asians and Pacific Islanders and their friends.
Metropolitan Community Church-Christ The Liberator meets for services (Christian non-denominational)
every Sunday for services. Men's Coming Out Group meets every Wednesday.
NJ Education Association-LGB Caucus meets one Friday per month during the school year. The New Jersey Lesbian and Gay Coalition/ Personal Liberty Fund every second Monday. All are invited to attend, you need not be a board member.
NJRAD (NJ Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf) meet every third Saturday.
Open Mic Night is held every 3rd Friday. A venue where you can share your original music,
poetry or stories. Everyone is welcome-listeners and sharers alike.
Orthodykes. Helping women who are traditional Jews and lesbian, bisexual or transgender
live at peace with those two aspects of identity, every first Sunday. OWLS (Older Wilder Lesbians)
meets every 3rd Friday. Pride Center Youth Drop-In is held every 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Saturday.
For LGBTIQQ youth and their allies for youth 17 and under. Strategy Game Night meets usually
every 2nd and 4th Saturday. Games are planned ahead of time.
TeamNJ meets every 3rd Thursday at to schedule a wide variety of athletic and recreational
events. Together We Can, a discussion group for persons dealing emotional, mental and addictive
problems, meets every Tuesday. Facilitated by Alternatives. Under the Rainbow, a discussion/social
group for gay & lesbians between 18 & 25, meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday. Women's Coffeehouse
meets every 1st Saturday.
Women's Peer Support Group meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday.
