R. L. Polk and Co.'s Florida State Gazetteer and Business Directory 1917

My grandfather, Jesse Bright, and his family left Perry, Taylor County, Florida in 1917 and migrated to Glassboro, Gloucester County, New Jersey. At the age of 13, Jesse embalmed bodies for a local undertaker in this gazetteer named R. E. Mc Neill. Sheriff Parker, the Peacocks and others mentioned in Jesse's verbal history may be found in this gazetteer copy.
