Training at your Desk!

Instructor-led training at your desk!  Yes, the future is here today.  I’ve had the opportunity to do training remotely for a large company this summer and the training sessions have gone extremely well.  I provide the same class-room lecture over the web.  You see the presentations; you receive my annotated course guide with all the slides/notes/and lab exercises; and assistance to setup a lab environment at your site.  I can do any of my training opportunities over the web for your company.   I am offering my most popular classes: Oracle SQL Tuning and Advanced PL/SQL on a regular basis.  I am also offering Intro to SQL and Intro to PL/SQL.  Let me know your training needs and we can see if it is better for me to travel to your site or to provide the training in this ‘no travel/no expense’ web environment.

Attendees Receive:

  • Study guide with presentations and relevant white papers
  • Zip file full of course example SQL and SQL*Plus scripts
  • Opportunity to ask the tough Oracle questions
  • No Travel!

Course fees differ slightly per course...ask Dan for current pricing.

Lectures are 3 to 4 hours each, Monday thru Friday mornings (central USA time zone).  Watch for offerings in the London time zone.

You get the same quality lectures packed full of current Oracle information and the ability to ask relevant questions.

The lectures will be in the mornings Monday thru Friday.  Watch for or ask for lectures in the London time zone as well.  Morning lectures allow the attendees to attend this valuable training as well as perform their daily job tasks.  The lecture slides and voice will be via the web.  A dial-in phone number will be provided for those who need it.  The course is completely interactive.  Students can ask questions at any time.  Labs are generally at the end of the lecture and the instructor will be available for Q & A and lab assistance after the lecture.  Lab solutions will always be reviewed.  The course guide will be provided electronically and students can print a copy if they desire a hard copy.  The course guide contains all the lecture slides and instructor notes, the labs, lab solutions, and relevant white papers.

All of Dan’s course offerings include hands-on lab exercises.  These web classes depend on you to have your own lab environment.  Dan provides:

  • The scripts to build the lab environment on your companies development environment

  • Links to get Oracle11g Express, SQL Developer, and TOAD to setup your own personal lab environment, along with the scripts to build the lab environment
  • VMWare images with Oracle10g Express, SQL Developer, TOAD, and the lab environment scripts all pre-installed.

Course guides and the above lab environment assistance will be delivered prior to the class via email.  The course guides contain all the presentation slides, instructors notes, and lab exercises with lab answers.
