This is the page where I will rant and rave (gee catchy phrase maybe I will use it for the title =^.^= ) about whatever has me pissed at the time I write it or whatever has me really happy or I feel has gone right in the world. Now any realist is gonna figure out that very little goes right in the world, otherwise people would never do pages like this. However, sometimes thing do go right. Besides, If things always went right the world would be a pretty boring place ne? OK now on to the ramblings.

Gee how do these things go. Well I will just start with my views on a few topics and if any of you are interested in my opinions on any other topics then ask and If I have a fairly strong opinion about it I will post it. :) OK here we go. promise.

Well if you are gonna risk pissing people off there are few better topics to choose than Religion. SO I will tackle it first. My personal religious beliefs could best be compared to those followed by many Wiccans. Yes that's right I am a witch. Contrary to popular belief we are not all tree hugging hippies with no job and no life outside of their little group. Not so with me. I am not associated with a "Coven" I don't feel they are necessary. A persons religious beliefs are between them and the deity they follow. I have done the Coven thing and was not very impressed. The politics got to the point where the joy and celebration was becoming lost in the back biting and political maneuvering within the ranks. This is SUCH BULLSHIT.
Religion is about the relationship between a person and their Deity NOT about who did the most community service this week or who has done what for this group or that.
Now, before you Christian's get up on your high horses and say something to the effect of "Well that's what you get for turning your back on the LORD'" PUHLEEZE!!!!! Look in your own backyard. There is no religion I have ever encountered that has NOT had political problems and Christianity is by far the worst offender I have found. Yes I have studied a variety of religions including many different aspects of Xtianity. Now.... this being said. The problems I have with Xtianity, or any other religion, isn't in the religion itself. My problems are with the followers of said religions. The religion itself is not to blame for the actions its members take in its name. By MY opinion there is no one way. Your religion is no better nor worse than mine. It is a personal choice that you as an individual make. Yes upbringing has something to do with it but it is still a choice YOU as an individual made. I personally don't give a damn what your religious beliefs are. As long as you don't cram them down my throat...we won't have a problem. You are your own person. What you choose to believe may work for you. If it doesn't work for me so be it. I won't judge you so don't judge me.
There was a fun song National Lampoon put out several years ago. I think it was called Deteriorata it had a classic line in it that while funny was also a very valid point slightly paraphrased it goes as follows. "so make peace with your god, what ever you perceive him [her or it] to be, Hairy Thunderer or Cosmic Muffin." OK enough about religion. I will probably add more as time goes on. :)

OK this is where you, the reader, get to try and help me, the writer. I have tried on many an occasion to come up with a topic on which to rant and have consistently come up short. SO, I am asking for your input. if you feel you have a topic about which you want to hear my opinion then please feel free to email me and give me your suggestion on what is a good thing to rant about. I warn you now if you are expecting witty commentary filled with colorful pop culture metaphors ala Dennis "the god" Miller you are in the wrong place. Sadly as much as I admire and enjoy the man and his works...I am nowhere near as good at it as he is. :) I am willing , however, to hear your ideas and or opinions and if I think it is something about which I have a strong opinion I would be more than happy to comment. Please, no suggestions about the pros and cons of breast augmentation. (Yes I really did have one person ask me about that... scary isn't it?)
