The muffler is all its stock glory.



Remove all bracketry. 
14mm wrench.


 
I used a grinder to carefully grind down the rivets. 
Aim right for the middle of the rivet and grind about 3/4 thru'.
You may choose the alternative method of drilling out the rivets
with a 3/16 bit.


 
Use the cold chisel to knock off the last bits of rivet.  Don't 
worry about bunging up the caps,  they're tough just don't
angle the chisel too sharply.


 
Use the 3/16 punch to pop the rivets out of the hole.
