Here is your chance to Impact Destiny. Be part of a unified force for Shmiras Haloshon.
The Chofetz Chaim and many gedolim have said that the only way to successfully work on Shmiras Haloshon is through the regular study of its laws. The Manchester Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Yehudah Zev Segal, zt'l, divided the sefer of Shmiras Haloshon into daily sections, to facilitate the daily learning of these laws.
The community, as a unified group, committing to 5 minutes of daily study, will have a tremendous impact of their observance of these laws, an enhancement of their tefillos, an increase of love and unity, and the blessing of peace. We want to commit for a period starting on Rosh Hashana to Rosh Chodesh Shvat (4 months).
It is vital that everyone undertakes daily study of these laws. They can be studied by tapes, books, faxes, e-mail, phone shiurim, or the gathering of groups of friends.
Let each and every individual be counted among those who participate in this great mitzvah: the daily study of the laws of Shmiras Haloshon.
