S = Specific --- focus on one defined "skill area"
M = Meassurable --- set defined "target goals" to assess your performance
A = Attainable --- you can reasonably expect to achieve the goals
R = Realistic --- the goals should be necessary and important enough to motivate you
T = Timebound --- set a realistic time limit!
