MISCONDUCT/IMPROPRIETY,
HANDLING AND REPORTING INCIDENTS OF
H. POLICY
In accordance with the County's policy, every supervisor/manager should be prepared to recognize and handle employee misconduct and are required to immediately act on any known or suspected matter of employee, vendor, or contractor misconduct/impropriety. This includes but is not limited to theft, embezzlement, misappropriation of funds or resources, conflict of interest, work hour abuse, unauthorized use of County equipment, nepotism, kickbacks, personal misconduct, personnel improprieties, and Workers' Compensation abuse.
Acts of misconduct/impropriety by employees will result in severe disciplinary action which may include discharge from County service.
