If you take two tuning forks of the same pitch, you can strike one and the other begins to vibrate as well. Because they are perfectly attuned, one responds to the other in perfect harmony.

So it is with us. When we raise our consciousness, become aware of the presence of Love as the One energy in the universe, we raise our "vibration" rate to match that One, and life becomes harmonious. Rather than a struggle against "others", we see that they are also part of that same One, and therefore we can accept their different perceptions, their seemingly different vibration rates, as part of the grand symphony of Love.

Just as a tuning fork held tightly cannot vibrate in tune with another, we can hold our perception as "separate" as well. If we "fear" another, we fear a part of ourSelf, and see discord rather than harmony. But the "other" is merely a mirror reflecting what we "project" from our own viewpoint. The purpose is to allow us to see the things we judge in ourselves, leading us to forgiveness and at-one-ment.

We can choose to communicate thoroughly, to Love and accept enough to discuss our different viewpoints to reach a "meeting of the minds", the essential element in the law of contracts. When we do, we reach an "agreement", which Jesus referred to "when two or more are joined together, I will be there". It is only at this level that we CAN join, for our separate life experiences lead to different interpretations, different perceptions that keep us "separate". Through caring dialogue with another, we discover that our perceptions aren't really differences at all, but merely different EXPRESSIONS of One Truth, Love.
