REFLECTIONS

The nature of the intelligence universe is such that the underlying reality behind its operation can be applied as a model for the truth that is beyond the physical perception of our senses. This inspiring truth came to me as I stared at the full moon, peacefully floating over the calm ocean on a clear spring night. There it sat, a seemingly lifeless, dead mass of rocks. This rock, floating in space, dancing with all of the other seemingly lifeless planets in the solar system had one large similarity to all other planets and moons moving around the sun together in this symphonic dance. That similarity is that it, along with every other planet, the moon gives off no light of its own, it can only reflect the light of the sun. The amount of the moon that we on earth can really see is dependant on or position in relation to the moon. If we are directly between the moon and sun, we will see the entire moon. If we are the exact same distance from the sun as the moon, we will see only half of the moon. If we are farther from the sun than the moon we will see less and less light given off from the moon, until we are behind the moon and see no sun or moon at all. The moon is always half lit, and half unlit, but our perception of the moon depends on our reference point.

This exact same analogy can be used to describe life in the universe. The human body, like the moon, would be a seemingly lifeless mass in the universe, if it was not for this light of Divine Mind reflecting its own nature through it. All life has this light completely reflecting off of it, animating its true existence and illuminating its presence at all times. The source of the light, as in the case of the moon, is at the center reference point in the entire system, or the only true, unchangeable reference point that there is, which is Divine Mind. What this means is that we all have Gods complete true nature reflecting off of us at all times, but the location of our consciousness determines how much of the light we see. We choose our location at all times by the thoughts that we accept into our reality. If we accept thoughts that say we are flawed, imperfect creatures, our reference point moves outside the system, away from the central light. The more of these thoughts we have the more our appearance of reality turns from a full moon, to a half moon, to just a sliver, when in fact the reality is that the moon is perfectly reflecting all of the light that is hitting it at all times. As we have thoughts pertaining to our perfection, of gratitude for the light(good) we receive, and love towards all things, our reference point moves inward, thus uncovering more and more light, until we see the true reality of all things.

Once our consciousness moves inwards of our apparent point of existence (our reference point becomes more and more Godlike), we see more and more of our completeness. As we move closer and closer (consciously) towards God, not only do we see our true selves as full and complete, but the closer to the center of this system we become, we see all other forms of creation as reflecting more and more light, or their true nature. As our thought aligns to that of reality, our reference point is that of light itself or of God, and all things appear in their true form, that of pure light. When this occurs you see that it is not the material bodies of all things that even represent reality, but that the only reality is entirely light and all darkness is wiped out of consciousness.
