For a number of years I have used an analogy of the ocean to illustrate that time and space are NOW to the consciousness of God. In re-reading Messages From Michael last week, another analogy made things even more clear.

Imagine yourself in a small boat in the middle of the Atlantic ocean near the equator, facing North. North America is "up there" on your left, South America is behind you on the left, Europe ahead on the right, and Africa behind on the left. The Arctic Circle is in front of you, and Antarctica behind you. All are quite some distance away.

If, however, you could somehow reach into the consciousness of the ocean itself, each of the different continents is HERE. There is no distance, as the ocean is touching them all at once, HERE.

Realize further, that ALL the oceans of the world are "connected", and imagine the shared consciousness of the collective oceans, touching EVERY continent in the world, all HERE to that consciousness. The NAMES we gave to those continents would not matter to that consciousness, for HERE is ONE place, not many DIFFERENT places.

Likewise, the concept of TIME would not matter to that consciousness, for it is touching that one place NOW, there is no TIME when the collective oceans are NOT touching any continent. Thus, it makes no difference whether you called this one North America or the year 4,000 BC, or that one Europe or the year 8,000 AD, ALL are HERE, NOW.

If we were to take a test tube and fill it with ocean water, seal it, and drop it back into the ocean, it would it still be PART of the ocean. Yet the water inside the test tube could not directly touch the waters outside because of the glass barrier. Yet from the ocean's perspective, it could clearly see the water inside the tube as part of itself, and could not see the glass barrier at all. Only the water inside the test tube wuld feel limited and restricted, and yet it continues to move and exist as controlled by the movement of the ocean.

Are we the same? Is our test tube our body, yet filled with the ocean water of life itself? Are we in fact Divinely guided throughout our lives, and truly have no limitations or restrictions except those we see from INSIDE our body? Is it possible to reach the consciousness of the Divine from inside our test tubes? I think it IS.
