Reverend Judy Powell is an ordained minister of Religious Science with
an adventuresome spirit, joyous enthusiasm, and a delight-full sense of humor.
Reverend Judy graduated from the University of Wisconsin and began her career life as an elementary teacher. She then moved to California, where she became a successful real estate professional. It was on the west coast that she discovered Religious Science, and there was no turning back. She made the philosophy called the Science of Mind her Science of Heart.
Following a seven-year ministry in Kalispell, Montana, Reverend Judy came to Minneapolis, where it was her blessing and challenge to be the founding minister of The Minneapolis/St. Paul Church of Religious Science, A.K.A. Celebrate Religious Science.
One of her congregants writes, "In Reverend Judy Powell we have attracted to Celebrate Religious Science an energetic, creative mind - a writer and speaker who truly is a gifted teacher and spiritual resource."
Reverend Judy is a lifelong learner and finds writing to be pure joy.
