The wonderful synchronicity of LIFE continues. After reading THE REVELATION by Barbara Marx Hubbard a few months ago (see Cells), I realized more and more that each of us IS part of our evolution as ONE spiritual BEing, and that everything we do is part of that process, including this IS book. Her vision of The Planetary Birth Experience (quoted here with permission) touched me deeply.
I witnessed the Earth as a living body, just as the astronauts did. It was alive! Then I experienced a kinesthetic imprint of the planetary organism. I felt myself to be a cell in that body. Earth was gasping for breath, struggling to coordinate itself as a whole. The pain of its whole body was being communicated through the mass media, the nervous system of the world. I felt everybody's pain as my own... for we are one body. The Planetary Smile Then the movie sped up. I saw something new. A flash of extraordinary light more radiant than the sun surrounded the planet. Instantly, all of us were attracted to the light. We forgot our pain, and at that moment of shared attention, empathy began to course through our planetary body. Wave upon wave of love flowed through all people. A magnetic field of love aligned us. We were caressed, uplifted in this field of light. We felt our inner light rising. Mass healings occurred. People flooded out of their houses, offices, and buildings, meeting each other in ever-growing gatherings, embracing, loving one another. It was like a thousand Berlin Walls coming down at once... all over the world. A beat began to pulse through the planet. The air cleared, the waters purified. Food coursed through the whole system, reaching all of our members. The mass media throbbed with light, carrying stories of our transformations while itself being transformed in the process. Rockets rose majestically, carrying the seed of Earth life into the universe. The Earth coordinated herself as one body. With each wave of harmony, the glowing light that surrounded us intensified. We were being coordinated by an invisible design. The light became brighter and seemed to fuse with the light that is within us. Each of us was a point of light, growing brighter as we joined with other points of light. As we connected on Earth, millions of distant points of lifelike light also appeared in the surrounding universe. And as we harmonized, they became even more visible and were drawn to us...life to life, light to light. We were attracting beings comparable to ourselves. I heard a tone, a vibration that oriented us in one direction. The entire human race was magnetized by that sound. The animal kingdom was gentled. The lion did lie down with the lamb. The glowing light around our planet seemed to be intelligent, loving, familiar. It was about to speak with us directly. We were straining to understand, yet were too immature to fully recognize the meaning of the sound. Then I heard the inner words clearly: Our story is a birth. It is the birth of humankind as one body. What Christ and all great beings came to Earth to reveal is true. We are one body, born into the universe. GO TELL THE STORY OF OUR BIRTH... Barbara! My vocation! To tell the story of our birth! My prayers had been answered. I had found my path, I knew why I was alive. The search for the cause had been found. "Oh, thank God, thank God, thank God. Our story is a birth!"
Chills ran through me as I read that, for I realized that the IS book flowing through me was also that same intelligent, loving, familiar light, LOVE. There has never been any personal ego gratification for me with IS, no desire for fame, and definitely no "fortune" (see Procrastination). Barbara's words echoed my own feeling, now intensified, a gratitude FOR this life, FOR this opportunity to be PART OF that birth. Within a few days my meditation revealed that IS was now to reach even greater distribution, with millions of copies to be printed and given away by The IS Foundation, which naturally evolved under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It has been chartered as a tax-exempt (501 (c) (3)) public charity, recieved an advance ruling from the IRS that it will be treated as a tax-exempt charity, has completed the advance ruling period and been confirmed by IRS as a qualifying charity. I have been joined by Co-Trustees Dr. Wes McPherson and Dr. Wallace Nakagawa, both of whom have been strong spiritual leaders/teachers/healers for many years and who share my gratitude for the guidance of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We have adopted the following as our Statement of Purpose for The IS Foundation: The purpose of The IS Foundation shall be to further the spiritual development and evolution of mankind through the support and encouragement of individual spiritual growth and awareness. This shall be accomplished by the publication and dissemination of uplifting and enlightening writings, and through encouragement through financial support and assistance to those individuals and organizations actively working to expand human spiritual consciousness. Through the IS Foundation, we are doing our part by freely sharing love with many who would not seek spiritual guidance or buy a book, those who may need it MOST. Starting with the IS book, and continuing with others' inspired thoughts, we expect to return to the original idea of writing, to share thoughts with others rather than sell books at a profit. We hope to keep the operating costs of The IS Foundation at a minimum, and expect that will be less than 10% of the donations received, with 90% actually paid out to further our purposes. The IS Foundation now provides a means for YOU, the reader, to participate in God's Great Plan (which you are ALREADY doing) in a more CONSCIOUS manner, KNOWING what we are doing and where we are going. It is easy to see a good purpose, decide to support it, and write a check to send a donation. We don't want you to do that. Rather, take some time to think about it, to feel deeply where we are going, what we want to accomplish, and how you might help in that goal. You may have some great new idea about how to reach more people, how we might help more, or might even have a great inspiration to share with others through your own writings.
