FBI released a report showing that state and local police arrested someone for marijuana once every 40 seconds in the U.S. last year. The 786,545 marijuana arrests in 2005 set a record for the greatest number of marijuana arrests in a single year in U.S. history. Actual figures reported from Nevada were 4962 for marijuana alone, more than Murder, Manslaughter, Rape, Aggravated Assault, and Robbery arrests combined. 2005. The most bizarre "torture and see who cracks" techniques are used. From seeing how long they can let a staph infection go before they may or may not get the inmate to a proper medical facility for treatment, to setting off concussion grenades in the middle of the night; from frigid sleepless nights to malnutrition and inadequit medical care. That is not justice. That is no less than TORTURE.

If we know prohibition doesn't work (proven for more than 80 years) and only creates a street market for crime, violence, and child addiction (prohibition creating anarchy), to continue the drug war madness (reminiscent of witch hunt days) means the criminal psychosis of men in power.

Prohibitionists suffer from lack of intelligence, lack of information, insatiable greed or all three. Mainly it is the profiteering prohibitionist that stands in our way. Lack of intelligence means you cannot see a true cause or realize that controlling others is futile. Those that lack intelligence are (for lack of better words) programmable lemmings - robots following their televised programming - unable to think for themselves or have an original thought. That only describes the little prohibitionist. The real problem cases are the heartless ones profiting from prohibition.

Cannabis has great medical benefits and I'll prove it in just a bit. But first lets discuss the torture of the incarcerated, which has no rehabilitation effect and no deterrent effect.

Let me describe the hell imposed on "throw away" people. Whereas the experience is so horrible it defies true description, the cold temperatures and lack of clothing or blankets to keep warm, the sleep deprivation caused by a quarter inch thick worn-out bacteria infested mattress on cold steel, too hard and too cold to sleep for more than a few minutes at a time, the concussion grenades going off in the middle of the night and the nightly dorm storm of deputies intended to wake, and further torture inmates and insure sleep deprivation, the hunger, hopelessness and despair without proper nutrition, the un-maintained air system blowing bacteria infected dust, working its way into pores, the torture of inadequate medical treatment for staph infection with its tissue consumption, the zombie like state of an infected person living a nightmare of blood infection supplied by one or more puss filled bacterial nests where resistant microorganisms entered through the skin, staged to kill and consume the live victim while the quack doctors joke with each other about the puss oozing from a wound that requires surgery, about which they will do nothing but allow its progress, the death camps of injustice that the worst murderers don't deserve.

Any society should want dangerous people removed and incarcerated for its protection, but any government that wants them tortured is a sick and criminally insane government. Just look at any county jail and know, it is not a reflection of society in general, but that of its government personnel.

Punishers are the lowest form of life in the universe getting off and experiencing pleasure from the suffering of others, even though or especially because their victims are kindhearted people who never hurt anyone.

All violence is senseless. Using violence and punishment only proves that you lack the intelligence to devise a creative solution. Punishment NEVER did one bit of good.

All punishment ever did was to cement feelings of alienation and anger in the victim, while only serving the punisher's ego; serving a cocktail of domination and false superiority only a sadist could enjoy.

Vengeance is just a fancy word for more violence. Vengeance is the purpose of the death penalty.

Torturing criminals (not to mention non-criminals who never hurt anyone) in harsh jail conditions makes everyone involved their equal. Or is that worse than a murderer? It is no matter what they have done. Making them suffer for their mistakes is malicious, and all of those who are a part of the cruelty are their equal or worse.

Deterrents? Never! People will only respond with love by being shown the same, and maybe not even then, but that is no excuse for torturing people who cannot defend their selves. Torture and cruelty is spineless and evil, as is support of the drug war.

If there were any real motivation to "protect the kids" as they claim, legislators would protect them by getting drugs off the street. Drugs are never destroyed after confiscation, but always returned to the street for profit by law enforcement, if they dont use it themselves.

The only way you will get drugs off the street, is by ending this dim-witted and gluttonous profiteering scheme of a drug war for the spoils of war, driving the price of a weed to the price of gold for the profit of the DEA and CIA thug-drug-dealing-slime-balls at a cost to the lives and futures of our children. This drug war is NOT born out of care for others, but is born out of utilitarian power-lust.

Drugs are on the street for profit and no drug war will stop that, but only create it. We MUST put our own government thugs out of business by ending this insane drug war and by returning true freedom to the people. But heartless criminals in government are just too greedy and spineless to care or to make a difference with intelligence and sanity.

From 1954-1959 Dr. Van M. Sim was in charge of clandestine research at Edgewood Arsenal, Maryland. Dr. Sim reported to Medical World News: "Marijuana… is probably the most potent anti-epileptic known to medicine today".

Jean P. Davis M.D., and H.H. Ramsey, M.D. The demonstration of 
anticonvulsant activity of the tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) cogeners by 
laboratory tests (Loewe and Goodman, Federation Proc. 6:352, 1947) 
prompted clinical trial in five institutionalized epileptic children. All 
of them had symptomatic grand mal epilepsy with retardation; three has 
cerebral palsy in addition. EEG tracings were grossly abnormal in the 
entire group; three has focal seizure activity. Their attacks had been 
inadequately controlled on 0.13 gm. of Phenobarbital daily, combined with 
0.3 gm. of Dilantin per day in two of the patients, and in a third, with 
0.2 gm. of Mesantoin daily.

Two isomeric 3(1,2-dimethyl heptyl) homologs of THC were tested, numbers 
122 and 125A, with ataxia potencies 50 and 8 times, respectively, that of 
natural Marijuana principles. Number 122 was given to 2 patients for 3 
weeks and to 3 patients for 7 weeks. 3 responded at least as well to 
previous therapy; the 4th became almost completely and the 5th entirely 
seizure free. One patient transferred to 125A after 3 weeks, had prompt 
exacerbation of seizures during the ensuing 4 weeks, despite dosages up to 
4 mg. daily. The 2nd patient transferred to 125A was adequately controlled 
on this dosage, except for a brief period of paranoid behavior three and a 
half weeks later; similar episodes had occurred prior to cannabinol 
therapy. Other psychic disturbances or toxic reactions were not manifested 
during the periods of treatment. Blood counts were normal. The 
cannabinoids herein reported deserve further trial in 
non-institutionalized epileptics. Reprinted from Federation Proceedings,

Grand Mal Seizure: Muscles are severely pulled and strained and loss of consciousness occurs. The tongue is chewed; the mouth fills with blood, spills, and is swallowed filling the stomach with own blood. To sum it all up, as in speaking directly to an idiot: If you don't like weed, don't use it you ignorant twit. It's not for anyone to decide what's right for another. Smoke your cigarettes, shut the hell up and mind your own goddamn business. This evil republican government is killing and torturing people for profit and you think peaceful marijuana users are hurting people? Such thinking is evidence of an egotistical control trip and mental illness.

What happened to freedom in America? It went to greed.

It is so alarming to watch this once great country go to greedy evil dogs at the expense of decent caring people around the world. Why does this piece of crap government resist our will, the will of the people to end this insane drug war? Because legalization will dry up the overpriced street market and their own law enforcement thugs will be out of business; the evil business of stealing people's weed and selling it at the price of gold, then getting and extra kickback: egotistically by getting to torture their victims in chambers of injustice, and monetarily with ownership of Geo Group stock which increases for every additional inmate proportionally.

They can check for ID at the drugstore. The street dealer isn't checking ID. So it isn't really about the children in the poor neighborhoods going to jail before they get a chance at career life. If only everyone could know the truth, those contributing to the insanity might be exposed for what they truly are to the lovable and sane part of humanity.

If you look up THC in a physician's desk ref, its most common side effect is elation and heightened awareness. "We can't have that. Addendum

The human body has receptors for both cannabis and dopamine and by some strange coincidence, fitting molecules are produced in nature. If you have any intuitive quality you should, by now, be throwing rocks at evolution theory (and the drug war and every regime that supports it) and embracing intelligent design.

A partial consensus thinks if drugs are legal everyone will get drugged out and sloppy and some probably will, "you can't legalize drugs", compelling me to write: "you can't" NOT legalize drugs!

How do you deal with "drunk in public"? These cases should be ordered to rehab and education for a very small percentage of the wasted drug war dollar. It would be a small percentage because educated and intelligent people don’t overdose on anything, nor would they if drugs were readily available, proven by the fact that drugs ARE readily available. Those profiting from the drug war don’t want you to realize that fact of human nature, but want you to be scared.

So instead of sucking kids into a black hole drug war and robbing them of an education in a spiraling decay of their lives, with criminal records from retarded governmental prohibition that shifts drugs to the street without warning labels, with the hidden agenda of inflation and profit, have a little trust and faith in human nature and end the insanity.

Prohibition solves nothing but only creates more problems. From the street gun-deaths and raids into our homes* to people dying in dens of induced sleep deprivation, torture and neglect (jails previously described). Drug war supporters are either sadly brainwashed and unable to think for them selves, OR they are profiting from the ignorance, insanity, and the suffering of others.

*The following is an excerpt from a September 20 article in the "Times Union" in Albany, NY:

"A police strike team raided a woman's Prospect Street apartment and handcuffed her children and killed her dog early Tuesday in a $60 pot bust. The woman called it excessive force and a case of mistaken identity, but officers said they stormed the home for a good reason: One of her sons was selling marijuana there.

The Police Department's tactical squad knocked down the front door of the upstairs apartment at 110 Prospect St. and flooded into the apartment shortly after 6 a.m.

'I heard a big boom. My first reaction was to jump out of bed. We were trying to find where our kids were at and all of a sudden we had guns in our faces,' said 40-year-old Anita Woodyear, who rents the second-floor flat.

During the ensuing chaos, police handcuffed two of the woman's children, Elijah Bradley, 11, and 12-year-old Victoria Perez, and shot at her dog in the kitchen before killing it in the bathroom, Woodyear said.

'That seems like an awful lot of firepower for marijuana,' said Fred Clark of the Schenectady chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. 'That's like spending $125,000 for $5.'

'No apology, no "sorry about your dog",' she said.

But police said they have no reason to apologize. They said they raided the house because Woodyear's 18-year-old son, Israel M. Bradley, sold three plastic bags of marijuana there for $40 on Sept. 15. They allege he sold two other bags of marijuana in the house for $20 on Aug. 28, they said.
