Why Studio Cygnet? It's a reference to that story about the ugly duckling which turns out to be a beautiful swan. The ducks couldn't recognize the beauty because they were - well - ducks, instead of cygnets. And so the moral of that story has become the inspiration for my photography: There is beauty in all things - we just might need to change who we are to be allowed to appreciate it!

The newest additions are always at the top of each page.

Currently two of my photographs have been included in an exhibition in the lobby of the Scarborough Building at 6th St. and Congress Ave. The theme of the show is Icons of Austin. The photos have appeared on this website, Capitol Building Door Hinge and Kids Run by the Capitol (still here).
The two photographs that I had showing in the Flower Power show at Watson Studio Gallery in Johnson City, TX. during May are now here on the website, at the top of the Rectangles in Monochrome gallery. They are the flower photos, naturally.
