EXTRAS FOR SALE OR TRADE
Like anybody who enjoys plants I always seem to have a few extras of something or
something that got to big I would like to get rid of to make room for the next great palm
etc. So I will list what I need to clear out by trade, barter, or sale. Most of my plants
were started from seed so most of my collection is less than seven years old. So I am
always looking for medium size palms and cycads of all but the most common.

STAGHORN FERNS
I try to collect and trade only cultivars and sp. that are true to name and have the
best distinct characteristics of that type. Many Platyceriums are sold under many names
that at best are only minor variations of the standard bifurcatum or hillii or at worst
they are just the same plant grown under different conditions or renamed wrong. The
variation on one plant can be dramatic from year to year, sun to shade, and beach to
desert. I find most Platyceriums show their best form in bright areas ( some forms
can even take a few hours of morning sun) and tend to look drawn out and plain in dark
shade.
