INCLUDED IN THE $7500 PRICE:

CUSTOM TRAILER:  A really good custom built trailer that more suits a boat like this.  The trailer has a winch that makes it much easier to step the mast.  This trailer also allows the trailer to be driven out from under the boat when launching or back underneath the trailer when recovering.  You simply raise the boat all the way up on her foils and drive the trailer underneath.  The trailer also permits the bowsprit to be attached all the time.  None of these features are possible with a stock trailer.

CUSTOM TRAMPOLINES:  made by Sunrise in Clearwater, Florida.  They're very robust and roomy and made like a typical high-end catamaran tramp.

SPARE RACE RUDDER:  I'll toss in a spare "race rudder" that had some scratches (not gouges) on the bottom foil.  The rudder is pre-wired for a speedometer/timer/etc.  Note:  I MAY be keeping the speedometer for my other boat if I can figure a way to mount it.

MAINSAILS:
A new mainsail in addition to the spare stock mainsail that's been repaired.
The new main was made by a famous sailmaker in south Florida and it's a slightly different cut than the stock main.

BRAND NEW JIB:  A new spare jib; never been used.

TWO SETS OF BATTENS:
1. Custom foamcore and fiberglass battens for the new mainsail.
2. Stock solid fiberglass battens for the spare stock main.
I'm afraid to go into my Quicken software to see how much I've spent on fittings, shackles, and hardware for the various systems.

FOIL UPHAUL SYSTEM WITH CUSTOM TOOLED MOUNTS: The foil uphauls on my Rave allow not only the raising of the foils from the cockpit but also allow manual adjustment of the angle of the flaps.  The foil uphaul system shown on this website shows the vertical aluminum cranes.  Those cranes have a steel pin on the bottom end that insert into the solid aluminum base at the ama.  The cranes were NASA surplus that were struts to be used on the space station.  I bought them at Skycraft, a surplus store, in Orlando.  The aluminum bases for the cranes were machined from solid aluminum from drawings I made.

CREW SEAT MOVED:  The crew seat has been moved back five inches for better weight distribution and passenger comfort.  The modification was not permanent and it was made to be reversible.

FACTORY COVER FOR CREW SEAT: The crew seat hole has a factory cover that slips over the hole.

WINDSHIELD: The windshield for the crew seat is included.  (See photo this page)

MODIFIED FLANGE BOLTS WITH ACORN NUTS:  The bolts for the flanges on the main beam have been cut to a length that allows acorn nuts to be used instead of the standard hex head nuts.  That was purely cosmetic on my part but it does make the boat look more custom.
The steering cables from the rudder to the pedals are custom swaged wires.
A spare rudder cable still in the box.

CUSTOM WIND VANE MOUNT ON MAST:  A custom mount for a wind vane at the top of the mast.  You can use the large or small version of the Windex to screw into the base.

UPGRADED SHACKLES:  Most of the shackles have been upgraded and/or modified where needed.

FULL SIZE SPARE TIRE FOR THE TRAILER

I don't think you'll find another boat as nice as this one and with all the spares and upgrades it's a good as a Rave can be.
