This page will show you how to build a system to lift the ama foils while seated in the cockpit. Do not be
intimidated by the apparent complexity of this system. You can use this (admittedly) over-the-top system as a guide
for your own more simple design.

My boat uses a foil uphaul system that allows the Rave pilot to raise the ama foils from the pilot's seat and it also
gives the skipper the ability to manually adjust the flaps to any angle which is advantageous while hullborne in order to
reduce drag .
The result of this installation will allow the pilot to raise and lower, at will, the ama T-foils from
the seat and to adjust the flaps on those foils to whatever angle you may need for any particular point of
sail.
