Jupiter

This CCD image of Jupiter was taken with my Celestron C-11 optical tube at f/20 and with the SBIG ST-7 CCD camera from my backyard in Vista, California. This exposure is a median combination of 15 exposures of 0.1 second which was then sharpened with CCDOps. A #80 blue filter was used.Saturn
The above 35 mm photograph was taken through the Mount Wilson 60" reflector on October 10, 1999 with the camera placed into the eyepiece adapter at the Coude [f/16] focus. Note the red ring and the green cap at the top of the planet's disc.
The Moon
This CCD image of the moon a mosaic of 15 separate images taken with the ST-7 and my C-11. The mosaic was put together with Photoshop. Each image was moved to the canvas and the brightness and contrast was adjusted so that all images appear to match. If you look you can see where I missed portions of the moon.
