Why are we Enemies?
What's the BIG DEAL with this Universal Mind stuff?

The spiritual powers and principalities of this world, which the Universal Mind is but one part, are controlled by Satan and his minions. We are irreconcilably opposed to all of his goals. One day Satan and all his servants will be cast into a place called the Lake of Fire, which the Bible tells us was created for the devil and his angels. Interestingly enough, it was not created for humanity at all, though sadly many humans will end up there, having rejected God's plan of escape.
When a person becomes a Christian, something wonderfully strange occurs. Their very soul is re-made or re-generated as it is sometimes called. This is a supernatural transformation that is not accomplished by any human ritual or church attendance. It is something that happens between a person and God directly. It is called being "born again." When a person is conceived, they become a new living soul. But they are still part of the family of Man or as it is sometimes called, the family of Adam (and Eve). The children of Adam and Eve were born into the same spiritual state of separation from God that Adam and Eve entered when they joined Satan's rebellion against God in the Garden of Eden. But when a person is "born again" their soul is remade and they are no longer a part of the family of Adam but are now a part of the family of God. Their connection with the Universal Mind and the powers that control it is irrevocably severed. The substance or nature of their soul is transformed. Once that happens, the person is given eternal life and the Holy Spirit of God comes to dwell within them. This is the very presence of God which once dwelt in the Ark of the Covenant in the Holy of Holies in the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.
Through this power and presence of God a person is able to live a life worth living, to grow and change and to experience the wonderful joy and peace of the presence of God, regardless of one's circumstances. To find out how to experience this <click here>.
