Design concepts by DDC Multimedia can be encapsulated into three
simple principles:
Usability:
A web site should be easy to understand, navigate and allow one to find
what one needs within one or two clicks whenever possible. Too often
one finds when visiting a site you just can't find what you are looking for!
DDC Multimedia's number one concern in developing a site is "How usable
is it?". Can one find what they need right away without having to expend
effort to find it? Can visitors find what they went to the site for in the first
place? These and other issues need to be addressed from the very
beginning of a site.
Speed:
DDC Multimedia sites are all hand-coded. This includes HTML, DHTML,
JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets and web server scripts. Hand-coding
is far more efficient than using a web editor program and allows for faster,
cleaner, and more compatible web pages. Sites done this way look
right in all browsers.
Style:
Sites done by DDC Multimedia are clean, elegant and visually appealling.
Not only does this aid in using a site, but it allows for less effort on the
visitors' eyes and mind. Proper placement of page elements, lack of "clutter",
and understanding a users natural flow make for a more pleasant
experience in visiting the site.
