DAN D. - EAGLE SCOUT 

Dan D. is the latest Eagle Scout for Troop 610 after a long dry spell.  Dan completed his eagle project organizing a training program for 3rd graders on the dangers of swiftwater.  Dan's court of honor on Jan. 3, 1998 was attended by family, friends and fellows scouts.  Good job Dan!!!!!

EAGLE PROJECT PROPOSED BY MARC O.

Marc presented a task list for a project to research, design, fund, build and install a new sign for the Moorpark United Methodist Church.  His project is in the concept stage with approval by the church forthcoming.  The committee was enthusiastic about the project and gave tentative approval pending the decision by the church leaders.
