In 1998, after 25 years in television news and related fields, I made the move to full-time documentary production. LIFE OUTSIDE WORK:
As a typewriter collector and historian, I appeared at the 1989 opening
of the now-defunct National Office Equipment Historical Museum in Kansas
City (photo above). I was asked to deliver a speech. I did. And now the
museum is gone. Go figure.
.
From 1987-1999, I edited and published ETCetera, journal of the Early Typewriter
Collectors Association, which I helped found.
.
At the beginning of 1996, I created "The
QWERTY Connection," my first Web page. A whole set of related pages
follow.
.
My book "ANTIQUE TYPEWRITERS AND OFFICE COLLECTIBLES"
came out in August, 1997. Punch the link to take a look.

I am also slightly obsessed by drinking good quality coffee. To reach that
particular nirvana, I roast my own green coffee beans at home.
