Coach Pike Comments:
Our Sprinters did an outstanding job with Abram McCoy, Terry
Tyson, and Justin Boyd making Top Ten performances in the 100m,
and Mike Bailey clockiing in at number one with a 22.4 in the
200m. They teamed together in two stellar sprint relays. Their
1:29.9 in the 4x200 should be one of the top times in the state.
Freshman Dante Dunn had a great debut iin the 200m scoring in
the varsity 200m with a 23.7. In the field, Chris Pike dominated
both the shotput and the discus, launching himself to #2 on the
top ten list for the shot put. Rex Wilkes also cracked the top
ten lists with a vault of ten feet.
