Coach Pike Comments:
What great meet! Look at the top ten performances across the
board. In the 100, Abram ties the record again, Terry makes State
Club and Justin makes Conference Club. The four guys in the 200
ran the BEST combined effort I have coached in my career. Mike
was just .2s from the school record plus a State, Conference and
Varsity club performance by Abram, Terry and Dre to boot. Eric
and Ben put the hurt on the GL Vaulters with a 1-3 finish. Dre,
Mike and Brandon are the best long jump group we've seen in many
years. Kellen and Martel crushed their hurdle PR's as Kellen moves
up on the Top Ten Lists in both the High and 300 Hurdles. The
3200 relay ran our best time of the year, while Jimmy made the
Top Ten in the 3200. Our young throwers keep getting better and
better. Chris is the sole sophomore on the shotput top ten with
a group of all seniors.
Look ahead to the rest of the season. You ARE doing great,
and we will do more.
