Work in class to finish the study guide for tomorrow.  Look at the test questions and then see what you’ll be able to use from the study guide to help you answer them.

Please be able to match characters to his or her description (you’ll probably see nomenclature in this part!)

Grapes of Wrath test.  The essay question will be centered around the Catholic doctrine of social justice.  I will give you the specific question in class. 

Other than that, please understand the evidence of transcendentalism in the novel, how Rose of Sharon is an heroic figure, nomenclature, be ready to explain how Jim Casy is a Christ figure, the similarities to the Book of Exodus, and don’t forget that little turtle and symbolism
