2004 State Finals Results
Waverly Track had another great day at the state track finals
with a number of great performances. Freshman Phenom John Gundry
set a new school record in the 3200m run. The 800m relay team
of Ian McComb, Landon Jones, Dante Dunn, and Kyle Percival equaled
our best time of the year. Dante Dunn made the semifinals in the
100m missing the finals and a state medal by mere thousandths
of a second. Two time qualifier, Kyle Percival earned a medal
in the 100m Dash. The highlight of the day came came as our 4x100
Rasheed Lawal, Kyle Percival,
Dante Dunn, and Cameron Duncan captured the silver medal marking
the FIFTH CONSECUTIVE Year Waverly's 4x100 has medaled in the
state finals.
