Ride Diary The Races at Virginia International Raceway Here's some shots of my weekend outing to Virginia International Raceway. I rode down with some DC-Cycles folks on Friday and then joined some of the Crash Test Dummies in Raleigh to take in the practice sessions and races on Saturday and Sunday. VIR is a nice facility and a decent excursion from DC. Having ridden the track there, it's equally nice from a spectator's viewpoint.
View of the action at VIR's turn 4, during the 600 Supersport finals.
Nicky Hayden in hot pursuit of Kurtis Roberts at turn 17 during the Superbike finals.
Some of my Carolina and Virginia riding buddies on the fence at turn 17.
